Squad swimmers regularly take part in open meets and we are occasionally invited to friendly galas.

Details of forthcoming open meets are posted on the noticeboard at Strode and are mostly in the local area. Open meets provide a good opportunity for sweimmers to compete in events that are not covered in our normal gala programme, such as 200 and 400m races as well as allowing swimmers to swim events that they may not be selected for in galas. Open meets also provide another chance for swimmers to achieve Western Counties or even National qualifying times.
