Over the weekends of 17th and 24th September Clevedon swimmers competed in the prestigious Bristol North Open Meet, at Hutton Moor. 20 Swimmers swam for Clevedon and 19 set PB's. Chelsie Kirman, Sophie Feboul, Laura Neal, George Harris and Andrew Payne reached individual finals. Clevedon teams really excelled in the relay races. Against top class swimmers from all over the South West, many teams including National swimmers, Clevedon gained 2 Silvers, 2 bronzes, a 4th a 5th and a 6th place in relay finals. Top performing relay swimmers included :- Amy Sykes, Laura Neal, Stephanie Reynolds, Heather Jones, George Harris, Andrew Payne, Tom Jones, Paddy Trower, India Thomas, Amber Summerell, Sophie Feboul, Sophie Hicks, Chelsie Kirman, Ruby Lynch, and Rosemary Harris.

Sophie Feboul beat off three other National swimmers to take the overall Top 11 year old girl title.

These recent events have demonstrated the strength in depth that the Clevedon squad can now draw upon. These resources are set to be tested to the maximum on the 8th October when the first Speedo league gala of the season takes place involving the newly promoted Clevedon club.
