On Saturday 29th October Clevedon Tigersharks travelled to Kingswood for the final gala of this year's Mini Series knowing that only a win would be good enough to clinch the title. Even then, Soundwell would need to come 3rd or worse or they would pip Clevedon to the post. Clevedon were absolutely terrific and led from start to finish. Unfortunately, despite a promising start, Bristol North were not quite good enough to put Soundwell into 3rd place and so Soundwell won the Series by 1 point! Gala positions were:-

PB's were achieved by - Dan Smith (3), Calum Finch, Joe Mason, Harry Thornton (2), Matt Marrs (2), Liam Wakefield (2), Louisa Arnold, Hayley Burston, Sophie Hicks (2), Amy Sykes (2) George Harris(3) and Tom Jones. One highlight of the night was seeing Dan Smith zooming down the pool to win the Canon, the final event of the evening in an unofficial time under 14 seconds! Sophie Hicks was the Star Swimmer on the night.

Following the last race, Alison Feboul and Calum Finch, Junior Team Captains, collected our 2nd place award and Suzi Bowen and Chris Neale (Team Managers) were thrown into the water. This came as somewhat of a shock to Chris who had no change of clothes with him!

Everyone who swam in any of the Mini Series galas deserves a huge pat on the back but those worthy of special mention include :-
