the brand new pool at Horefield, for the first time, to take part
in a Four Seasons gala. Alex Reuben, Sabrina Wakefield, Susannah
Lambert, Ben Waygood, Dan Waygood and Kristian Lloyd made their
debut for the team and the two Waygood boys also had the distinction
of coming away with the Star Swimmer award to be shared between
them.
The youngsters performed well and no less than
22 PB's were achieved by Danielle Appleford, Edward Arnold, Bethan
Clinton, Matthew Ewing, Noelle Finch, Matthew Ford, Victoria Gilbert,
Kristian Lloyd, Ruby Lynch, Ryan Neath, Beth O'Dwyer (2), Lauren
O'Dwyer, Rebecca Parsons, Elliot Poulter, Alexandra Reuben, Aaron

Beth and Lauren O'Dwyer both knocked over 8 seconds off a PB at
the gala which is a terrific achievement.
On Saturday 28th January, the senior squad were
in action up in Stroud. The second gala in the Cotswold series took
place in the cramped surroundings of Stroud Leisure Centre. As Clevedon
compete in a high division of the Speedo league many of our swimmers
are ineligible to swim in the individual events in the Cotswold
series. Some younger and more inexperienced swimmers are drafted
into the squad and they performed heroically for the Tigersharks.
Lindsay Allen (2), Louisa Arnold, Alix Blease, Joanna Cox (2), Jamie
Gould, Matthew Mars, Amy Sykes, Sam Thornton and Paddy Trower all
delivered PB's and Clevedon ended up with a creditable third place.
Final Gala positions were:-
Cheltenham 172
Stroud 135
Clevedon 117
