The fourth Gala of this year's Mini Series was held at Keynsham on Saturday 16th September. It ended up with the same result as the previous three with Clevedon taking the top spot. There was high drama at this meet though as Clevedon lost an early lead to Bishopsworth. A close contest between the two developed which went right down to the final race of the evening. Clevedon lost the last race by a fingernail, but won the gala as an earlier event had seen a Bishopsworth relay squad disqualified! Final Points were:

Sophie Hicks, Chelsie Kirman and Harry Thornton won individual events. Elliot Poulter (2), Jared Overton (2), Lee Hicks (2), Matthew Bray (2), Sophie Hicks, Amber Summerell, Sophie Feboul, Bethan Clinton, Noelle Finch, Laura Neal, Stephanie Reynolds, Heather Jones, Patrick Trower, Andrew Payne, Tom Jones, Rory Crymble, George Harris, Nick Kelly, Ryan Neath and Harry Thornton clocked up relay victories.

Harry Thornton (3), Danielle Appleford, Sophie Hicks, Chelsie Kirman and Ruby Lynch gained Personal Best times. Harry also received the Star Swimmer award for his all round brilliance.

Clevedon now go into the Mini Series final very well placed. They will be led in the final by a new team management combination of Jane Cooley and Tom Riddell who take over from the legendary Suzi Bowen who leaves the team to go to University. Thanks to Suzi for doing such a great job.
