The Clevedon Swimming Club Cotswold squad travelled to Easton on Saturday 21st April for the latest gala in the Cotswold series. A difficult night for the team saw them come third behind Bishopsworth and Stroud, but ahead of Cirencester. Unavailability and illness saw the team having to scratch from 6 races.

Individual race wins came from: Bethan Clinton (2), Elizabeth Warnes, Rebecca Parsons, Elliot Poulter and Ben Horner. Relay victories came from: Guy Prideaux (2), Elliot Poulter (2), Matthew Bray (2), Rory Crymble (2), Megan Prideaux (4), Hayley Burston (3), Jenni Gilbert (3), Ellena Ibal (4), Lisa Hutchinson, Chelsie Kirman, Sophie Hicks, Rebecca Parsons, Vicky Smith, Gary Carpenter, Dave Stewart, Dan Lewis and Steve Bowen.

Despite a disappointing evening for the team, there were some highlights in the form of Personal Bests from Rosemary Harris (2), Suzannah King (2), Bethan Clinton (2), Sam Thomas, Rebecca Parsons, Elliot Poulter (2), Dave Stewart, Kelly Waygood, Hayley Burston and Gary Carpenter.

The points won at this gala qualify the team for the 'B' Final of the Cotswold series to be held at Keynsham on 12th May.
