Clevedon Swimming Club, sponsored by Bristol Hotspring Ltd., were in action again recently in the latest round of the Mini Series. For the third consecutive Gala they finished behind a strong young Sounwell team, but were well in front of the rest of the field. Final positions were:

Lizzie Warnes got the evening off to a fine start with a win in the 100m Individual Medley and later followed this with another win. She was joined on the winners podium by: Kelsey Khardine (back and fully recovered from her recent broken arm), Ben Horner (2), Amelia Chappell and her older sister Ellie Chappell.

Clevedon also had a win from Simeon Howlett, Ben Horner, Guy Prideaux and Nicholas Bray in the 13 and under Medley Relay. Unfortunately they spent much of the evening playing second fiddle to a dominant Soundwell squad.

New Personal Bests were set by many swimmers, showing great improvements ahead of next months County Championships:

Ella Cemlyn-Jones, Amelia Chappell, Ellie Chappell, Elena Crossan, Charlie Durnell, Megan Finnie (2), Natasha Hawley, Laura Hearn, Bethany Hodge, Zack Holdaway, Ben Horner, Simeon Howlett, Peter Kearsley, Kelsy Khardine, Gearge Leaman, Emma Sudol, George Symonds and Lizzie Warnes all beating their previous bests.
