Despite clashing with England's first World Cup game, Clevedon Swimming Club, sponsored by Bristol Hotspring Ltd. had a full team out at the latest Four Seasons gala at Burnham on Sea. Several swimmers, notably Emma Sudol, Sophie Olver, Joel Holdaway, Edward Daniels and Tom Hopkins (the last two swimming in their first team galas) turned out at short notice and a great evening was had by this youngest of Clevedon squads.

Throughout the evening a private battle developed between Clevedon and Backwell for 3rd and 4th places. Dominance changed hands all night, until the final session when Clevedon pulled out a solid 18 point gap.

Clevedon had individual race winners in: Lucy Barrat, Florence Tayler and Lucy Madams. Whilst: Aimee Swinton-Clark, Emma Sudol, Holly Hancock, Elodie Morrough, Finaly Smith, Edward Daniels, Tom Hopkins, Joel Holdaway, Sophie Olver, Lucy Madams, Sara Bayliss and Amy Thomson were members of winning relay teams.

Meg Coulter and Max Haydon were Clevedon's Star Swimmers for the work that they did in encouraging their teamates.
