BRISTOL HOTSPRING LTD AND CLEVEDON ASC RENEW PARTNERSHIP

When swimmers from Clevedon Amateur Swimming Club visited Bristol Hotspring Ltd at Cadbury Garden Centre to thank them for their continued sponsorship of the club and to have a look at the new Swim Spa at their showroom, they couldn’t resist the temptation to jump in – despite the fact that it is not yet full of water!

Bristol Hotspring and CASC have just renewed a two year sponsorship deal which will see Clevedon swimmers continuing to promote the hot tub company in return for their financial support.

Clevedon ASC have had great success over the past two years and Justyn Rowley from the company has been pleased to see the Bristol Hotspring kit on display all over the South West at county and regional championships but also further afield as swimmers from Clevedon have qualified for both the Schools National Championships and ASA Nationals.

Swimmers from the club are keen to show how the Swim Spa really works and hopefully in the future provide demonstrations of how it can be used for both fun and fitness and general use, but also full-on training for dedicated swimmers and triathletes.

Fiona Bowen, Development Officer for Clevedon ASC said “The Club is extremely grateful for the financial support from Bristol Hotspring.  We are the largest user at Strode Leisure Centre where we train, with our annual pool hire bill exceeding £40,000.  We receive no discount from the council on our pool hire, and with the spending cuts, less funding available and pool hire charges increasing, we are constantly battling to keep our fees at a level which is affordable for everyone, so that as many children can swim as possible.  The money from Bristol Hotspring will help us to achieve this.  We cannot stress enough how important support like this is to us”
